Sergers: Another variety of sewing machine includes the sergers. The sergers are also known as the overlock machines or the merrow. These machines are used to finish the final details of a project. The machines cut the edges of the costumes so that it appears professional and immaculate. It cleans up the errand stitches with the help of scissors and knives. Professional sergers are used to deal with soft fabrics such as lingerie.
